The sun shines throughout the season making it warm despite the relatively low temperatures. The beaches are lovely as the ocean temperatures remain at an average of 79.7°F (26.5°C) making it the best time for a good swim and later relaxing and sunbathing. The cultural celebrations, the enthusiasm of the arts festivities, and the Christmas festivities make it even lovelier. The daytime weather is cold and perfect for outdoor activities, site seeing, and park visits.

The worst time to visit the city of Mumbai is between March and May. These months record the highest temperatures scorching at up to 91.4°F (33°C). This is not the best time to head outdoors but can be managed with sunscreen, hats, umbrellas, and sheds.
